Love,
it's not a feeling, or an emotion. it's a state of being. to love someone, it's almost always an action. you can't tell someone you love them unless you act on it. you can't say that unless you show the other, what love is; charishing the person, doing things for the other person, and making life enjoyable for both of you.
i'm not saying that love is a binding thing, but most of the time in a relationship with a significant other, it is.
you have to act on the love that you tell them you have for them, and the amount that you want them to love you back with.
but usually, people are naive and don't usually act on it, less than they say it.
is that what society has made us come accustomed to?
is saying i love you just for the relief of saying it, or is it for something bigger?
is it for the time you wake up in the morning, and the time you go to bed, you want to see that person next to you, do you want to do things for them?
or is it just say it, and it doesn't matter what that person does, and you can go ahead and live your life the way you were living it, with not a care as much as if the person loves you back or not?
